After You settle down in the comfortable rooms of Villa Olea, it is Your turn to check all that You have only heard about Island of Pag so far. You have certainly heard that Pag, except for its hot stones and emerald blue sea, is far known for its gastronomic specialties, such as cheese, the secret of which lies in Pag's climate and the special processing technology; olive oil is poured over ewe's milk while curdling, which gives the cheese its unique fragrance and taste.

Besides the well known lamb and prosciutto (smoked ham), You will have to try at least one of 350 species of edible Adriatic fish prepared on grill or á la buzara (a specific type of stew), olives and olive oil, the healthiest bees honey - obtained from Garden sage-medicinal herb, various racy wines...

But, not everything is in food and drinks - this is proven by the hundred years tradition of working the unique Pag lace, which Pag women did as a pastime while they were waiting for their husbands to return from fishing. There are also old churches, remnants of walls, narrow stone-paved streets, unique remnants of the Roman aqueduct carved in rocks as early as the 1st century AD, etc.

Of course, Island of Pag is also abundant with "modern" things; there are numerous restaurants, wine-cellars, shops, souvenir shops, open air disco clubs, open-air movie theatres, an entertainment park, tennis and beach-volleyball grounds, water-slides, rent-a-scooter, rent-a-bike, rent-a-boat, rent-a-diving equipment, boat excursions to the adjacent islands.
